Better Presentation with a

Furled Leader

If you fish small streams and rivers this is the ideal furled leader for your floating line, 36" in length (91cm) spun from copolymer nylon, the leader will compliment any line from 3wt to 5wt.

For dry fly fishing a light dressing of Mucilin or Gink will give excellent buoyancy.

If conditions are more suited to a team of wet flies or a nymph, then dress the leader with Xink and the set up will work as a gentle sinking tip.

The furled leader has a supple woven loop at each end; giving a smooth transition through fly line, tapered leader and out to the tippet.

The spun construction means that the leader has excellent shock absorbing qualities, vital for protecting the tippet and reducing the numbers of bumped fish.

Easy to attach and durable this furled leader is perfect for rods 6' to 8'6" giving good turnover and presentation.

For the mono section I would suggest a Surgeons Loop on the end of a 30" length of 5lb (4X) mono, then join on a length of 24" of 3lb (6X) test using a Double (or Triple) Surgeons knot ,if you want to fish a dropper leave one side of the knot untrimmed (the 3lb tail is best). Make the loop to loop connection and you are ready to fish.
If you are neat with your Double Surgeon knots the 5lb length will last a long time, change the tippet section whenever it gets short or collects wind knots.

The leader comes in a glassine envelope, which is useful for keeping pre tied casts in.
